| 2007’s trout stocking program, although threatened by VHS disease and the possibility of not being able to obtain fish to stock, proceeded as usual. This year the stockings, began on April 27th and ended May 11th. The adult rainbow and brown trout in the 12” to 20” range were stocked at 11 sites around the entire lake. In 2007, we were able to purchase 6,430 fish averaging 1.28 lbs each at a cost of $35,675.00. Over the last 20 years of stocking, 85,860 fish have been stocked at a cost of over $380,000.00. |
