The Great Sacandaga Lake Fisheries Federation (GSLFF) was formed in February 1984 after several groups noted the need for one group to oversee the promotion and enhancement of the fishery of the Great Sacandaga Lake. Since this time, the group has collectively worked in many ways to enhance the fishery of one of the finest fisheries in New York State. In 1996, upon assuming a trust fund from the Red Bunch Fish & Game Club, the GSLFF incorporated as a federally recognized 501(c) not for profit corporation.		Click on Image for Larger View
Click on Image for Larger View		The GSLFF celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2004 and is looking forward to continued building of our membership while we keep focused on the enhancement of the lakes fishery. Don't be fooled by our name, the GSLFF's objective reaches much further than just the lakes fishery. We are very involved in many of the issues that face the lake in turn its fishery.

Issues such as our over 10 year participation in developing a Upper Hudson/Sacandaga Agreement of Settlement which we are a signateur, the Great Sacandaga Lake Advisory Council and Hudson River Black River Regulating District Steering Committee are just some of our other commitments. Please support us in keeping a watchful eye on the lake and its fishery.
